Really, he didn't realize his leg had broken, promise. In fact, he didn't even recall who he'd been fighting at the time- only that when he was done, and looked down at himself with both hid blood and his assailant's on his shirt, he went to take a step towards home and collapsed.
He scowled at his leg, almost basically trying to scare it into working, but it was not deterred, and his left ankle began to throb in defiance.
